The Story
A structured silk velvet coat lined in printed Volantis silk. The Shield Coat features a slim, tailored fit with pockets and clean lines — refined yet assertive, designed for mid-season days in the city.
Volantis was launched in 2015 and it is based both in Goa, India and in Milan, Italy. Husband and wife design duo Giada Alazraki & Jonny Lawrence first met in Goa India 10 years ago and began their creative journey.
A Combination of artistic skills, Giada’s prints along with Jonny’s cuts have become a luxury resort wear realisation. Volantis is known for their innovative hand block prints with elegant and original cuts perfected in their Atelier.
They design all of their fabrics and work with the local community in various places in India supporting their ancient craft.
Alice is 5ft 9 and wears a size medium.
